Project Type: Hospitality

Chick-fil-A Avalon

The design of this store was inspired by turn-of-the-century brick masonry buildings with load-bearing arched windows and brick detailing that breaks down the scale of the building.

The interior features grand dining spaces and large arched windows to provide exceptional daylight in the public areas.

Weathered steel and wood finishes, white subway tile, bright red mosaic tile and paint finishes give the interior a warm, vibrant, comfortable vibe.

Revolve Kitchen and Brew

Revolve Kitchen and Brew is an interior renovation of an existing 2,577 square foot space located in Hoover’s Lee Branch shopping center.

The existing space included large, exterior storefront windows, concrete floors, and 12-foot ceilings that were retained.

The new design embraces these elements using natural reclaimed wood panels, concrete and steel materials, period lighting and furniture throughout to exhibit a classic, industrial vibe.

-->

The Hollywood

Both feature a corten exterior skin with bright aluminum accents for awnings and window framing that helps transform the derelict building into a contemporary and fresh shopping experience.

Together, The Hollywood and Beal Bank tell the story of revitalization to a once neglected corner.

Zoës Kitchen SoHo

CCR has completed three renovations for the rapidly expanding Zoës restaurant: SoHo Homewood, Tuscaloosa, and Crestline Village.

Updates to the restaurants include: finishes, new color schemes and new kitchens to enhance their healthy menu offerings. New flooring, graphics, lighting, serving areas and furnishings were also renovated in order to accommodate the growth of the restaurant.

Chick-fil-A 5 Points

Parking is behind the building with canopies, trellis and outdoor dining pushing the building to the street.

The use of warm dark brown and creamy white brick gives this restaurant a modern feel while blending with the terracotta and masonry historic buildings of the neighborhood.

Very large window openings and multiple entries invite the customer in and provide them with active city views while dining.

-->

Pacific Rim

Beautiful black brick and durable phenolic panels with a wood grain pattern mimic the coral reef. The 10’ channel glass in the dining area allows light in and out of the building while maintaining patron privacy and peaking onlooker interest.

The interior features a soothing palette of pale colors, white pebble tile, dark wood patterns and aquatic-inspired light fixtures.

Café Dupont

The architecture reflects the philosophy of the owner and Chef, Chris Dupont, and highlights his New Orleans heritage infused with southern and modern elements.

The design creates a sense of warmth and comfort and focuses on the food and overall dining experience.

The restaurant serves lunch and dinner in an upstairs dining hall overlooking the maple-lined streetscape. An adjacent bar with upstairs offices and connections to the upstairs private dining finalizes the downtown dining composition.
