The City of Birmingham is partnering with several agencies to redevelop the Northeast YMCA and add more than 20 homes to the Roebuck community.

When complete, the project will include renovations to the current Northeast YMCA facility; a new premier health care center, mental health and nutrition counseling, and a family and community resource center; and 22 new single-family homes.

Project partners include:
  • Habitat for Humanity of Greater Birmingham
  • Christ Health Center
  • Impact Family Counseling
  • Community Food Bank of Central Alabama
  • United Way of Central Alabama / Meals on Wheels
  • Alabama First Class Pre-K

We are proud to be part of this transformational project in Roebuck.
