Project Type: In-The-Works

De Nada

Set to open in 2026, this 4,582-square-foot restaurant will be part of Urban Supply’s walkable alley district, home to restaurants, retail, and entertainment.

The menu will feature Tex Mex classics with creative twists like hot honey fried chicken tacos, house-made tortillas and churros, and a full bar with a curated craft cocktail program.

Owner Armando Martinez, whose family runs Hacienda Mexican Grill in Indian Springs Village, says De Nada will blend approachability and style: “A spot for family dinners after a Barons game or date nights with margaritas and tacos.”

We are currently renovating the former Our Lady of Fatima School building, originally part of the oldest African-American Catholic Church in the Birmingham Catholic Diocese, to house the new Freedom Prep Academy campus opening in Fall 2024.
