Lakeview Green, a multimillion-dollar mixed-use project planned for the former Davis School property at Fourth Avenue and 29th Street South, received conceptual approval from the Birmingham Design Review Committee on Wednesday, according to AL.com.
The project will add condos, apartments and retail, as well as greenspace, to the Lakeview area, which has seen a surge of development activity in recent years.
Designed by CCR Architecture & Interiors, it will have 30 condos of two- and three-bedroom floorplans with square footage ranging from 1,200 to 2,100 square feet and 73 apartment units of various floor plans.
