A $5M historical redevelopment in Montgomery, Alabama is underway

The 11,000 square-foot restaurant and retail development is located at 1030 E. Fairview Avenue in the historic Old Cloverdale District of Montgomery.

The area was once lively and full of character, but in recent years, the buildings have remained empty and fallen into disrepair. The design of the new development seeks to restore the historic charm, character, and vibrancy that define the Old Cloverdale neighborhood.

The Old Cloverdale community is steeped in history and has a romantic charm. We are excited to illuminate the character and elegance that make Montgomery a historic Southern town.

The 109-year-old retail strip is set to welcome Big Bad Breakfast, the Southern-style brunch concept from restaurateur John Currence, with three additional suites available for lease.

The development team and the city of Montgomery are collaborating on an improvement plan for the surrounding infrastructure, which includes enhancements like updated exterior lighting, refreshed landscaping, and new sidewalks.

Old Cloverdale Village is expected to be complete by the end of 2025.
